TEHRAN - Fifteen antiques dating back to the Parthian and Sassanid eras were discovered in the possession of smugglers recently.

The items were discovered hidden in a car which looked suspicious during a routine investigation by Law Enforcement Forces in Marivan.

The antiques, after they were handed over by the smugglers, were turned over to the Kurdestan justice administration. They were later transferred to Sanandaj Museum.
